New Year's Eve Makeup @ G2O

Makeup: by Brian Brady

This tutorial can be used with an array of different colors. We stuck to the most basic grays and neutrals that will compliment any New Year's outfit.  Our Model is wearing makeup from True. Use these steps for your upcoming New Year's Eve Event!

Apply moisturizer around the face and eyes to protect your skin.

Always start with your eyes. It makes cleanup easier in the end. For our model, we started with an eyeshadow base from lash to brow.  Shape your brows with a darker shadow using an angled brush. Use a lighter color under your eyebrows to define arches. Next, apply a shimmery shadow over your lids to spark up your eyes. Our model is wearing "Aurora" from True. Line your top lids at the lash line with black liner to create the illusion of thicker lashes.  Apply mascara to your upper and lower lashes.  Blend a darker color that compliments the original shadow in an inverted "V" in the corners of your eyes with a blender brush. Our model is wearing "Lava" from True. Use the light shimmery shadow to line underneath your lower lashes and blend with darker colors in the outer corners.

(Use makeup remover on the end of a q-tip to clean up excess makeup or mistakes.)
Blend concealer to hide any redness around the face. Apply a powder foundation for a perfectly flawless face. For a wintery glow, apply blush to the apples of your cheeks. Use a highlighting color right above your cheekbones to accentuate them more.

(Keep the color neutral to bring attention to your eyes. )

You're all set to bring in the New Year!

Hot Products @ G2O

Here are the top 5 of G2O's favorite retail products. They are available at 25% off this coming Tuesday (23rd) and Wednesday (24th). What a Bargain!

This product was recommended to us by our Spa Director, Christine Haddad. Featured in Vogue and Cosmopolitan magazine, this product will enhance the fullness of YOUR natural lashes within weeks. Here is a video from Extra to show you how it works.

Lip 20

A fantastic anti-aging product with ingredients SPF 20, Seabuckthorn berry extract, Hyaluronic filling spheres, c10-30, Patented Peptides & Marine Collagen to make your lips look fuller after 2-3 weeks of continuous use. It will not give you that "bee-sting" effect, but more of a plump and kissable appearance. Does not contain petroleum jelly or castor oil like most lip balms and glosses, which actually direct sunlight to your lips causing them to chap, dry and sunburn very easily. For more information and testimonials please click the "Lip 20" link above .

Dark and Pure GHD Stylers

This tool is my best friend. If you are a fan or you know someone that is a fan of the GHD styler, then you MUST get one of these limited edition models. It comes in a sleek black or white package, and includes the tutorial and traveling case. Throw out your old curling irons and flat irons, this tool will help you perfect the style you want. If you want a head full of curls, pin straight lock or sexy waves, this tool will do it fast! Are you dark or pure?

Beauty Blender

Winner of Allure Magazine's "Best of Beauty" award, this little sponge is the ultimate makeup applicator. Its elliptical shape makes application fool-proof and gets into those hard to reach areas on your face with ease.

Archipelago Botanicals Soy Milk Lotion

Dried milk solids and softening soy protein combined in a thick luxurious moisturizing lotion. Aloe Juice, Jojoba oil, and Vitamin E are added to nourish your skin. Leaves the skin smelling fresh. 18 fl. oz.
