New Year's Eve Makeup @ G2O

Makeup: by Brian Brady

This tutorial can be used with an array of different colors. We stuck to the most basic grays and neutrals that will compliment any New Year's outfit.  Our Model is wearing makeup from True. Use these steps for your upcoming New Year's Eve Event!

Moisturize
Apply moisturizer around the face and eyes to protect your skin.

Eyes
Always start with your eyes. It makes cleanup easier in the end. For our model, we started with an eyeshadow base from lash to brow.  Shape your brows with a darker shadow using an angled brush. Use a lighter color under your eyebrows to define arches. Next, apply a shimmery shadow over your lids to spark up your eyes. Our model is wearing "Aurora" from True. Line your top lids at the lash line with black liner to create the illusion of thicker lashes.  Apply mascara to your upper and lower lashes.  Blend a darker color that compliments the original shadow in an inverted "V" in the corners of your eyes with a blender brush. Our model is wearing "Lava" from True. Use the light shimmery shadow to line underneath your lower lashes and blend with darker colors in the outer corners.

(Use makeup remover on the end of a q-tip to clean up excess makeup or mistakes.)
Face
Blend concealer to hide any redness around the face. Apply a powder foundation for a perfectly flawless face. For a wintery glow, apply blush to the apples of your cheeks. Use a highlighting color right above your cheekbones to accentuate them more.

(Keep the color neutral to bring attention to your eyes. )
